I hate to bring this up, but...

See also this. It may not seem related to the current discussion at first, but you should know the reason why I linked to that certain topic...

Dang, I never realized that sound changes could be so complicated... :o Now that I think about it, I should modify some of the sound changes that Kahrhtehlahrhno went through to evolve into its daughter languages. A whole lot of them are generic (e. g. a set of sounds changes in certain environments...

Hey, welcome to the board, TheLoneAmigo. :) I'm assuming that you mean "Qaraus", right? I just did a search on Google for it and I found these links on the old Virtual Verduria Message Board: here , here , and here . There's not a whole lot of information you'll find in those links, though - it's al...

Speaking of getting virused (is that actually a word?) e-mails, I've checked my e-mail account earlier and I got four messages that had attachments with viruses with them. I don't even know who those messages are from. One of them said "your big love, ;-)". It's strange how people can seem t...

I don't know how you would consider a vowel harmony system like the one in one of my main conlangs, Kahrhtehno, to be. The 10 vowels of Kahrhtehno are put into a chart - vowels in a word can only be followed by the vowels that are adjacent to that vowel in the chart. For example the vowel 'ah' can b...

I like the Jippirasti alphabet too. Stuff like that makes me have the feeling that if I ever come up with something original, there's a good chance someone else would've thought of that before! You can find the alphabet by going to the Historical Atlas and clicking on 1750c. Read the commenta...

Gdeon is definitely 64. No, wait. I think I lied. I had some reason to think that when I wrote it, I swear I did. It's 48. I just passed that a few days ago. I'm not a big fan of gdeon? (or any one-legged giants, for that matter). Oh, and Gdeons aren't one-legged, just the other leg is behind them....

I wonder what the most is, anywhere on the web. I remember being on some old message board (can't remember what it was about) for one year (Dec. '00 to Apr. '02) where there was this one guy who reached up to at least 20000 posts! :? It was a very large online community though, with more than 7000 ...
