Isma?n phonology

Wow, this is the first post I've made in Almea...it feels good. Down to business: In Isma?n, as you probably know, exists a set of alveolo-palatal fricatives. Is that some sort of double articulation of [s] and [x]?

That'd only be consonant harmony if the only voiced/voiceless distinction were in consonants. In many of my conlangs, however, the vowels are also distinguished by voicing.
