but most software doesn't actually implement them. Right, that was the problem. I tried it several times but without success, so I had a look at the other system. And I misread your question, Torco, sorry. Also, what the hell is that at ~4:07 :| Am I suffering of Tourette's now, randomly uttering s...

So the average conlanger is not only bearded, bespectacled, gay, and Lithuanian, but also has long eyelashes?

Besides, it has been pointed out to me when I was younger that mine are rather long, too. I guess they still are. They're the same colour as all my hair, though, so a dark blonde/light brown.

My old link to Grimm and Lexer doesn't work anymore, since the portal is now http://www.woerterbuchnetz.de/ . Most notably and of interest to you and youse it hosts a digitalized version of Deutsches Wörterbuch by Jacob Grimm and Wilhelm Grimm, as well as the Benecke-Müller-Zarncke (also known as BM...

It's red-green (defect in red or green cones) > blue-yellow (defect in blue cones) > total AFAIK Also note that colourblindness may range from a small affection to a total defect. And note that not only the name-giving colours are affected, but other combinations as well. E.g. I (being red-weak) som...

They, in essence, did . Not only in essence. The fortification measures did include a concrete wall in the last recent stage if my memory of History lessons serves. And barbed wire. And minefields. And dogs. And guards (GDR people's police) with the permanent order to assassinate everyone who wante...

You do believe that the Wall was an "antifascist protection barrier" (Ger. antifaschistischer Schutzwall), as GDR propaganda liked to refer to it (AFAIK), don't you?

I would myself tend to think of East Germany here, but young-uns today are likely to be less familiar therewith. Unless they've received History classes in Germany. Which is a minority on this board. And in comparison to the board's average age I'm not a young 'un either anymore, I guess. The GDR a...

What bothered me most is that I had to look up the syntax of different commands for more elaborate stuff, which often took longer than actually typing it out. Nowadays I'm using OpenOffice, and for most purposes that's enough for me. Except OOO still doesn't allow OpenType. Shame on it for not even ...
