Medellinians on Maraille
This has been bothering me a while, but how do they keep going? How many lords are going to let them hang around anywhere near them? I know that groups like this weren't that uncommon in Medieval Europe, but the official recognition and institutional continuity implies a lot more success, which... w...

Cadhinorian Religion
The revised page on this is up.
http://www.zompist.com/pagan.htm
Reading through now - enjoyed the greater depiction of Methaiun religion, and the first major change to the depiction of the Cadhinorian I've noticed is a greater attribution to Methaiun influence.

"Medieval" Times in Eretald
Several of the Almeopedia articles refer to these - are they considered coterminous with the Dark Years, or a somewhat different period?

Re: The Multipliers
Very interesting. For a start, how much trade was there between Munkhash and the Wede:i, and what did the Wede:i know about the ktuvoks? What kind of rebellion was Munsuk's and why did the philosopher support it? More importantly why does the merchant take so long to realise they're fighting Muku - ...
Re: Incatena
I like the Swiss system very much. Collective leadership ought to be tried more often. I prefer to at least have someone as first among equals myself, and I rather dislike the all-party nature of it - makes change far more difficult than it needs to be, in my view. (While I recognise change is not ...
Re: Incatena
I already explained this: monarchy sucks, not only in politics but in economics. Democracy works better, but I think we'll learn to get past the 18th century technology of reducing it to electing a quasi-monarch. Does this mean you'd like something similar to the Swiss Federal Council? http://en.wi...

Biology of Almea
The Historical Atlas of Erelae refers to an upcoming Biology of Almea. Since that was a decade ago, how far through that are you?
Also, you've said you're updating the Atlas, but I haven't seen any changes.

Re: A Munkhashi Life
It's very interesting - they're more or less said to be in constant civil war, with every ktuvok fighting at least one other, though wars seem more of a ritualized combat of champions. It makes you wonder how they can expand - they're supposed to have territories all over, so it can't just be an all...

Re: Cheating Skourene
Okay. It starts at 61 and is increased to 62, and the Axunai can add three strokes to make it 42, or turn it around to make 26 - which saves sixteen more, not seven. I remain somewhat confused.

Re: Cheating Skourene
But if I'm reading it right, the Skourene starts it at 7, increases it to 8. The axunai can then add three strokes to make it 6, or turn it round to make it .......... stay the same?

It's a very good part of the Axunashin test - except I don't understand the answer!
