It seems that consonant clusters in the onset position are allowed.
Are there patterns like CCVCV that nemand a consonant cluster to appear? What happens if two consonants of a root cannot form a cluster?

I think most conlangers, me at least, feel that <th> is okey for /tʰ/. But <sh> for /ʃ/ makes very English favaour. <zh> is even worse. There I prefer <š>.
