Opportunity to be part of a conlang documentary
Hey guys. Not sure if you're all aware, but there's a conlang documentary coming out (early(?)) 2016, and there's an open call thing for people to submit snapshots and mentions of their conlangs to be part of it! Conlangery (the podcast) did an episode about this documentary: http://conlangery.com/2...

Re: English: long sandwich
What do you call it? A sub (but smaller ones like the one in the picture are sometimes just called "sandwiches")
Where are you from? Savannah, Georgia
Where do you live now? Atlanta, Georgia
What else might have influenced your choice? My mother is from Germany.

Re: Your longest conlang text.
I've translated "King Arthur's Courage", but that's a copyrighted (children's) book, so I haven't posted it online. :s It's easily my longest translation, though, taking up like five pieces of paper front-to-back. The second longest one (and only available one on the internet, I guess?) is "Ere ta a...

Re: On creating a timeline
I kind of printed out like.. 30 maps of the entire concontinent where my peoples live, and traced their movements inexactly over the course of about 1,000 years. At the end of doing that, I was able to determine who had history with whom, and who would feel what way about whom, and why. I was also a...

Re: Let's hear what your conlang sounds like.
I've got a few short videos in my language on youtube. There are 'lyrics' in the video descriptions. I'm not good with IPA, so I'll let my voice do the explaining. :) ...Someone said it sounds like gaelic/arabic, but I dunno about that. :p Talking about leaves: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZtYorR...

to bubble up; to rush forth
jjesî - to boil violently, to push through something or break something as a result of built-up force.
next word: to be perfectly content, still, quiet, peaceful- like a puppy lying in the sun.

Re: Post your conlang's inspiration
My language grew out of a need to have a secret language to write things in. I had nosey parents. :p It also helped that right around the time of their good-intentioned nosing about, I was a teenager and taking both French and German in high school. Being that my mother speaks German and at one poin...
