Rapid Development
How would one go about rapidly developing a country to an industrialized civilization standard of life? (Think Spain had post 1940-70's tech when it reached Brazil.) I have ideas but am curious as to what you guys think.

Buoyancy is the word I meant I just couldn't remember it. The reason I would want lower pressure is to lower density. People already know that a vacuum chamber would have more lift more than a hydrogen filled balloon (after a certain point.) I thought that high pressure would make this more viable.

The air would undoubtedly be denser then here on Earth allowing for all kinds of fun stuff. Might I suggest pumice? I like giant dogs. Diane or mastiff. I currently have this adorable mastiff that is like a giant cat. Sleeps and eats. Though should I want to play with her she is entirely willing.
