'Tis alright. I think there are some of us who've been waiting for the Xurnese languages for over 3 years, so it hasn't really been that long for Flaidish.

Well, last night I was just tired enough to go through and count transivity for Proto-Eastern verbs. This is what I came up with: -m [/i]:with 2 exceptions (la:dam go and nem be born ), all are transitive. -k [/i]: with 1 exception (alirek live ), all are transitive. -r [/i]: with ?4 exceptions (dem...

Another question: Where did you come up with (or rather, they come up with) the letter for ??

MST3K im Verdur

I was wondering, did I get this right (or at least close?) It's the final theme song from MST3K: Mike: "In the not too distant future im řo ret tro ?anmen somewhere in time and space tic? im diďan er reďunat?n Mike Nelson and his robot pals Mihel Nelsen er li? niruomĭ drukĭ are caught in a nasty pla...

I don't let Word create html versions; it creates a mess. And a huge, 200MB mess at that. Q: Are you going to take the FTP'd grammars down, now? On second thought, don't. Then we can have the tedious, linguistically-balanced grammar of Cadhinor. I'm sure that you're going to change the VV main page...

I had a strange dream last night. I was looking at the Virtual Verduria homepage, and the language section looked something like this: Verdurian Cadhinor Isma?n Proto-Eastern Barakhinei Elkar?l Flaidish [/b] Cuzei . Xurn?sh Yes, it was Cuzei , not Cu?zi . And I do not know why Wede:i wasn't on there...

Whoa, you have an old version of the Cuezi grammar? Link, please! here it is. It also has a linguistically balanced Cadhinor grammar. And I'll add a vote for Xurn??. Also, are you (Mark) planning on using Unicode anywhere else? Perhaps, writing the newer ones in Unicode, and switching the others al...

Well, a Cu?zi grammar is probably coming soon... I haven't really thought about Arc?l... personally I'd root for more on the Axuna?in/Xurn??~Xurnese, religion or no. Flaidish could be fun...
One question though: Do you have much on the Western/Somoyi-Methelyi languages?

As far as the "workings" are concerned, I'm not sure wether they'll be very unusual. Xurnash is an Eastern language, so it's grammar is probably not that confusing. Actually, if Xurn?š is anything like Axunašin, it will be very different from Verdurian, Cuezi, Cadhinor, and any other Eastern Langua...

The 'Giantish' wasn't inspired by Entish, was it? The general description sounds very similar. It seems that your reality has a more direct opposition of Giants : Ogres, while Tolkien has Ents : (some trolls), Dragons.

A question:
for Benecian and Beshbalicue, you state in the 2000 posts that they use a pre-reform orthography. Are you ever going to elaborate on this? Might this be jumpstarted into a study of Old Verdurian?
