Quick question about [θ] in Spain

Anyone know approximately when did /θ/ begin to appear in Castilian and other neighboring languages of present day Spain? From what I understand, it evolved from Medieval /ts/ and /ds/ in words such as información and caza . And I wager that the Andalusian lisp (ceceo) is a fairly recent development...
