Re: Velar versus uvular fricatives
I've always intuitively felt (or perhaps more just general observation) that guttural sounds (velar to glottal) were the most likely to have free variation. Perhaps due to the dexterity of the front of the tongue as compared to the back. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if there were a language out ...

What methods are there, if any, of developing nasal vowels without surrounding nasal consonants? Also, how (a)typical is it for languages with nasal vowels to have nasal codas?

I do find a problem with some clusters... My language distinguished between normal stop, pre-aspirated stop and uvularized stops... problem it, it's hard to produce a pre-aspirated stop *after* another consonant; It is very difficult to do this: /ak.ʰtal/ and with uvularized stops it's hard to do t...

Seems unlikely being that there are no other velarized consonants in the inventory. Also, the presence of /kɬ/ (for all intents and purposes, a coarticulated alveolar-velar lateral affricate) might suggest that a sequence /xɬ/ existed at some point. Later becoming /ɬʟ̥͓/... Or some other batshittery...

For symbols, if somebody could suggest something that looks "futuristic" (maybe similar to Aurebesh), that would be good. How 'bout whipping out the ol' chisel and clay tablet and hammer away at them yourself? Or adopt Aurebesh to your inventory. The writing system will be a system similar to Engli...

Those are voiceless. Okay. <ĩ ẽ ũ ã> are "tuned" (voiced) I understand. But how do they contrast with <í é ú á>? <ǐ ě ǔ ǎ> /y œ u o/. So would <i e u a> be /i ɛ ɯ ɤ/? A safir's mouth is structured identically to a human's. ITC, please use IPA or CXS. Also, this should be in the C&C Quickies forum.

Are these <r l i e u a ř ľ ǐ ě ǔ ǎ> voiceless as well? And are these <ĩ ẽ ũ ã> nasal variants or alternate spellings? Are their qualities as in IPA?
What are your phonotactics/syllable structure? Is there tone?
Are Saphir mouths identical to humans'?
