Re: Post your number system
Eh..., I find your improper and nonstandard use of Cyrillic to be an eyesore, much like someone using "e" for /d/ and "b" for /o/.

How does that work? And, while my language is Noun-Adjective, demonstratives come before the nouns.WeepingElf wrote:How about this: prepositions merge with demonstratives, and the resulting adverbs become applicative prefixes?

Re: Do Alphabets Always = European?
My conlang Vrkhazhian is written in an abjad that only represent vowels at the end of words (mostly corresponding to the gender endings), and even then only three of the six.Salmoneus wrote:I think if it doesn't represent vowels, it can't be an alphabet.

Could a preposition before a noun end up prefixed to a verb (in SOV word order)? One possibility is applicative voice; where the preposition is used to mark the voice: I with the pen wrote :> I the pen with-wrote I for her kill would :> I her for-killed would Then you could drop the promoted noun; ...

Re: Vrkhazhian, an a priori triconsonantal root language
It seems that consonant clusters in the onset position are allowed. Are there patterns like CCVCV that nemand a consonant cluster to appear? What happens if two consonants of a root cannot form a cluster? Syllable structure of Vrkhazhian is complex, being (C)CV(C).CV(C).CV(C)(C) Epenthesis breaks u...

Re: Vrkhazhian, an a priori triconsonantal root language
This is one of the best conlangs I have seen lately. I have been following its build-up at FrathWiki with interest, and shall continue to do so. This is one of the rare instances of triconsonantal root language that is neither a rip-off of Semitic nor giving away its artificiality at first glance. ...

Vrkhazhian, an a priori triconsonantal root language
I have been working on this conlang since February 20 of 2014. So almost two years. Since then, I have gained much knowledge about triconsonatal root systems and the diachronics and applied that knowledge to my conlang. This language is diachronically derived from another conlang of mine, Taksheyut ...
