Akana is a pretty massive collaborative conlanging/conworlding project that's been around for years now. The focus is primarily on languages, but the world (at least the part that's been developed so far) has a fair amount of lore to it at this point, and it's got basically no fantasy elements. Hmm...

My father is fluent in Chavacano, a creole of Spanish in Philippines.
I have begun learning Russian (through library resources), and Portuguese and Spanish through Duolingo.
However, I might start learning Chavacano soon, since it is endangered.
