Why not kill two birds with one stone and release a whole lot of sea otters off the coast of Japan?

Yeah, that still makes two when you consider the definition of a gerund; nice try, though. I'd say that there are three, though: 1. The Participle (the singing people) 2. The Gerund (the people's singing) 3. The Present Progressive (they are singing) The Present Progressive is composed of the prese...

Yes it is. In English, there are two types of words ending in -ing: present participles and gerunds. A gerund is a verbal noun. If you can replace the -ing word with "to [infinitive]" and it makes sense, you have a gerund. If not, you have a participle. "Seeing as there are a number of linguisticall...

So it?s really "Śeginur" and "Kisni asenoso ngageṣorul" or "Kisni asenoso ngageşorul". By the way, it?s an interesting choice of sentence what with the Voom election going on. Is this a hint of future political developments to come in Zompistan?

So in other words, The Old ZBB was far too productive and focused. Yes, but that was because every week Mark was revealing new episodes and maps in the history of Almea, so we had reason to keep focus. I know, I was there. Now that it takes so long for new revelations, you cannot blame us for wande...

That shows that the original Finns were conquered by people from Almea, who of course died out because they were not interfertile, but not before passing down their language.

In the completely non-sexist language of a certain country that has a v in it, the words for ovary/testicle and Fallopian tube/vas deferens are exactly the same.

I ought to know what the male equivalent of a Fallopian tube is, yet I can?t remember it. Apparently they?re not words in Mark?s usual vo...

Same way as regular stamps are distributed: Canada Post will send the finished product to you. Of course, if you want to mail them you have to go to Canada (with extra postage added for US destinations), or else just use the stamp as a pretty picture and add the regular US stamp.

Why? Why not?

What ever happened to the "Swedish ambassador", by the way? You would think he would post here a lot. Was Verduria just a passing fad for him?
