Re: Saltha Culture (Longish post)

In general Slathans would want justice to be the same for rich or poor (they just had a system of numerous abuses from the powerful over the weak), and either way not sent a person to prison for the wrong reason. I guess the main problem is revealed in what you said about pretext. I guess I was pres...

Re: Saltha Culture (Longish post) - 2nd opinion feedback wan

So, someone on the conworlds board pointed out some issues with my legal system. Basically they said this system would cause abuses because they would be motivated to, for example claim someone pushed them if they fell down stairs, causing them to pay them., and become effectively their slave to pay...

Re: What are you playing?

Finally got Deus Ex Human Revolution. I'm a big fan of the first game. There are things I both dislike and like about this game. I'm only at the second city so far (Left Detroit). Dislike: - "press button for cover" : More a taste thing, since not really used to it as a PC gamer. (And this seems mor...

Re: Calendars and timekeeping

The world Saltha on as a earth-like planet, with basicly the same conditions of orbit and environment. In Saltha, the calendar is a religous-based calendar, and contains a cycle of 15 months, each (except the last which has 3 weeks) have 5 weeks, and each week has 5 days (4 week days and a weekend)....

Re: Saltha Culture (Longish post)

Rainlander & Purplewurm: Thanks for your kind words. :) rainlander: That's a good question. I'm not sure about that. I kind of like the idea of it being at least semi-perminent, especially since tatoos would be pretty impractical for Salthans, and this would be a good stand-in thing for an older Sal...

Edit: Added a link to the main page of the wiki. BBWOP. I've been making quite a few edits since my last post here to the wiki . Feedback on any areas here, or stuff on the wiki is welcome. (Especially since I'm once again stuck on what to write next). The thing about the focus is something that's j...

Re: What are you playing?

MW3 is preloaded for the free weekend, so I'll probibly play at least a little this weekend. I like FPSs, but some reason I don't really like the modern shooters much. (I play games like TF2, Left4Dead, Left4Dead2 and Deus Ex (The first one, I havn't gotten a chance to play Human Revolution Yet) )

Re: What are you playing?

Finally beat Super Mario 2. :) Congrats. Bet it took you a while to get past all of those spiny ball things, tho. The part where you need to jump up all of those platforms. What was your contributor count? What really got me mostly was the very ending part with the conveyor belt. I had a bit of tro...

Re: Creativity of the day

Do you mean the temple? as I said, it's WIP. I still havn't done anything with inside the temple proper (the upper part) yet. The courtyard is supposed to be pretty much empty, though I could add something like lighting and maybe some decorative things. It does look too empty, now that you mention i...

Re: What are you playing?

Mashmakhan: No thanks, I'm going to keep trying and beat this darn game myself. I've gamed over one more time in the darn castle without even reaching wart. I've beaten the game before, but it was a looong time ago, back when I was acutally playing it on the NES. I think i've played through most of ...

Re: What are you playing?

I've been playing some of "Pac man 2: The new adventures" because I saw it mentioned in a video on youtube (top 10 games to play when depressed). No, I wasn't depressed, but it looked interesting. It is kind of humorous at first, but gets old pretty fast. :P I've been playing Chrono Trigger again, b...

Updated my "divines" images again, fixing the gender of the male divines to be more male-ish, tweeked the colors a little and added three lesser divines.

Re: What are you playing?

I've been playing some Grand Theft Auto 2, since it's free (on rockstar's site). Not sure what the big deal is about this series. I thought the missions are pretty frustrating, especially the darn Yakuza "steal the swat van" mission. :P

My little bro said they look duck-like too. :P Unfortunitly, I'm not really that great of an artist. :P

Actually, looking it does look really duck-bill like. Maybe I can fix the shape to look less like a green bill, but later, it's late. :P

Salthan main divines, based on a template on the Nationstates forum. http://dikaesha.pbworks.com/w/file/fetch/52203638/SalthanDivines.png (I realized that I used the "female" templete for all of them, even males, which makes them look funny even if female Salthans don't have breasts. I need to fix. ...

Re: Creativity of the day

Doesn't look very good, but I put the divines of saltha into a D&D alignment grid. http://dikaesha.pbworks.com/w/file/fetch/52177779/saltha%20Alignment.jpg I hope I can eventually put the icons for each of the divines in. Big dots are major divines, and small dots are minor divines (offspring of maj...
