if someone doesn't like their name they have the right to go by a different one. you don't have the right to decide for yourself that their reasons for changing their name don't meet your personal criteria for validity, and call them by a name they've explicitly told you they don't want to be called...

It seems reasonable to assume there was at one time a celtic substrate for dutch or its predecessor. After all, if not celtic then what?
