I got my chilli recipe out of a book and then tweaked it a bit for my taste... I've never put that second block of ingredients in it, but they look interesting... I also don't really know what ghee or kalonji are, and I'll always cut up fresh chillies. (as I like it really spicy, although sometimes ...

Cool, would it work on macs? Suggestions would include the obvious, like allophony/sound changes, checking phonotactics to make sure invalid combinations of phonemes aren't used. What's the difference between ‹u› and ‹ú› in the example above; is one stressed or long while the other isn't? Can the pr...

He still posts here, apparently. He's an anarchist, and more left-wing than just about anyone ever imaginable, and many find him insufferable and annoying, including other left-wingers. He's also autistic and is attracted to teenage girls, both of which cause him to believe that his life is hopeless...

it's considered bad practise to write "my sig" in this topic because you'll probably change it at some point and then people won't know what you're referring to.

cf. Tarasoriku's post.

A Tintin movie is in the works . Publishers are rushing to capitalize on the coming frenzy by publishing Tintin books in English, including an unfortunate early apologia for Belgian colonialism (which book Herge later disavowed): Tintin in the Congo . I'm dismayed to read (from the first link) that...

That was like the first thing I ever tried to translate into a conlang. I didn't get very far, and as soon I decided that a certain conlang, or revision of it, was a bit shit, I'd have to go back to the start again :(

It's completely pathetic to complain that my board isn't what you want in a board. Because, you know, I have fuck-all interest in making your board for you. You're not a big bold rebel for demanding that things be done your way-- you're a big pasty spoiled child. Grow up and make your own place. Ha...

I know how to make about three things, and they're chilli, curry (from a jar) and bolognese. I keep rotating through them, cooking big batches and sticking it in the fridge to heat up later. Oh the joys of being a student! I've never really had much desire to learn much beyond that, unless anyone ha...
