Alas, I do not right now have time to do more than skim the first half. Very interesting though - this looks to be a truly matriarchial society. Can't wait to see more of Arcel.

Re: Almean languages I'd like to see

Second, an ilii language. The only hint at the nature of ilii languages is a passage in the page on Cuezi that ilian writing doesn't easily transfer to human phonetics (in the discussion of the origin of the Cuezi alphabet). How do they speak underwater, and how do they speak above water? Are their...

I plan to wait until everything's up before I look at the atlas in detail, but from what I've seen so far it looks very cool. I love the little skourene-mei animation. :D

My given name "Gregory" comes from Greek and means something like "watchful one". Assuming I translated correctly, in Verdurian that'd be Leleneotene.

So in your particular game were there actually 17 (or more) evil wizards? Were they important to the game, or were they more like side characters? Forgive my dumb questions, I've never played D&D.

Wizards don't come up much in the Atlas because wizards aren't very important in Almean historical geography. um... how could they not be? nobody said Almea has to be exactly like Middle Earth, but damn, if they can transport people through space, there's got to be something more practical they can...

I've mentioned before that I really dislike how Cadhinor and its descendants were purposely based off of European languages. It ruins the suspension of disbelief, in my opinion.

I am interested in the course, but I probably will not have time this summer to learn it. Will this course be similar to the Verdurian one? although I have to say I have a crush on Isma?n, so I would probably learn that one first Dude, Isma?n is a total slut, and ugly to boot. What's wrong with you?...

In terms of uniqueness and interesting features, Elkaril hands down. I especially like the assignment anaphora system. In terms of how the language actually sounds, Cuezi is tied with Cadhinor. Apart from those I don't care much for the Cadhinorian branch of the Eastern family- the language are too ...
