Lovely and wonderous listeners, Please send us your recommendations for cool/interesting/awesome conlangs for us to talk about! Our list of conlangs is becoming slimmer each passing week and we need your input to return it to it's formerly glorious length. You can can give a suggestion by: 1. Postin...

Re: Conlangery Podcast (Latest Ep: #17: Aspect)
Indeed. I remember when he started working on that project. I always thought it looked like a fun and interesting way to start up a lang. It would require quite a bit of commitment to do the full 30 days though. Here's the CBB discussion of it if you're interested. EDIT: And thanks for bringing it u...

Re: Conlangery Podcast (Latest Ep: #17: Aspect)
I certainly don't, which is why I asked the question. But I still don't know of any natlangs that do such a thing.
One of my conlangs marks tense and aspect separately on the verb. I didn't mention it because I try not to talk about my langs too much.

Re: Conlangery Podcast (Latest Ep: #16: Tense)
Working out so far. I don't know if it has already been stated, but here's a little correction for Ossicone; 'djävla' is the old plural genitive of 'djävul', and 'djävlar' is simply the nominative plural, both old and modern. Jävla is an adjective now, right? (I don't know why but I like it without...

Re: Conlangery Podcast (Latest Ep: #16: Tense)
I really want to do poetry. But every time we mention it Bianca says she hates poetry. There seem to be very few things she doesn't hate. ... Do it anyway. It is true -- I think poetry is absolute pissbilge so I don't have anything constructive to add to such an episode. Every time they mention it ...

Re: Conlangery Podcast (Latest Ep: #15: Creative Ruts)
We had a few options:
a. Make them learn our conlangs.
b. Take over the world.
c. Make them give me money.
d. All the above.

I wish I could have written in the names. I didn't feel particularly inclined to any of those given, but I made up some pretty cool ones.

Re: Polyglottal Telephone XV
:( I know. But it's practice and I'll never get better if I don't try. It sure is, but come now... surely we've seen several considerably worse translations in this game? Part of the fun, I think. Ossicone, you really should look into the correct usage of "sin" - among other things... Ugh....
