Re: Venting thread

2016... The only reason to wanna hold on to it a bit longer, is that I'm not convinced 2017 won't be trying to out-do it.... *puts on Patience* JAL Is this what you mean by "Patience"? Also, I seem to have come done with a cold. (I blame the recent plane flight(s) I was on... almost nine hours in a...

There are few recent photos of people here. This should change (perhaps).

Here's one of me in front of the Nürnberg castle:

Got a Christmas gift I ordered for myself today: super-shiny euro coins from the Vatican City. Also ordered directly from the Vatican. (insert drooling)

Also, I head back to the States tomorrow; really am looking forward to spending Christmas at home. (Joy.)

Re: The Contradictory Feelings Thread

It is sad to hear that, LB; I hope the both of you are able to enjoy the time you have, though. In minor contradictory feelings, while I am excited for my trip back home (to the US) in about three weeks, several things about it are making me feel uneasy. One being the political climate, especially i...

Re: The Contradictory Feelings Thread

I decided to take the day off (have a few vacation days that need to be used up before the end of the year, plus Tuesday's a holiday), which was great: decided to go to Arlon to explore, which was quite a charming little city. Not going to work, however, felt really strange, and I felt a bit guilty ...

Re: Venting thread

I ought to tell people I become friends with when I go abroad that my native language is something other than English. The bad part of English being the lingua franca of the world is everyone wants you as a native speaker to look at stuff they're writing in English for errors. It doesn't really bot...

Re: Creativity of the day

Excuse me if this question has been asked and answered before, but I'd like to know where the island your countries are on is meant to be located. The short answer is that I've yet to really figure that out. The longer answer is that, originally, I designed the continent/countries to appear in a se...

I like how you create documents and bank notes. Thanks. VS those banknotes are amazing!! Hvala. Notably, though, most of those banknotes are old-ish designs... except for the 50-dénar note, which I recently did (as in, this past week). http://img04.deviantart.net/153b/i/2016/284/2/8/yjd_50__new__sh...
