(Not in any of my own this time.)

I do see what you're saying; in this case I think you're right. My assumption in suggesting diachronics as the more difficult method was based on the misassumption that you were working either with a language isolate or had already performed the transitions.

Re: Kryptonian conlang ?

Hmm. Well, I'm not Zompist, but, I suppose, depends on whether you want to speak it. First of all, if you do, don't make it too unlike human languages in sound. They're humanoid, they have (almost) the same mouth structure as us, and they make sounds the same way we do. I think. I mean, nobody's see...

Ah. That makes more sense, really. Oops.
By the way, strictly off-topic, do you know if there was much difference in the pantheons of the other Ezičimi nations compared to the Axunaic one? Would Meša still be on top, for example?

On Inbamu

Okay, so I was looking over the Axunašin sound changes from Proto-Eastern, and there's something odd missing. With all the changes, the word *Endānor only seems to go as far as **Endamu. Is there something missing, or have I just not done all the changes correctly?

Re: Old Skourene As Well

Fine, fine, I'll finish it up. I'm just quite sure the Skourenes wouldn't borrow the word for "chicken" from Axunašin...maybe from Jeori? Ah, well, I'll leave that question for the Zompist. Baipa “chicken” (Old Jeori vaypə, Wede:i waipa) Ḍraḍali “garden, plot” Ḍuṭem “vegetable (Axunašin jučem) Ḍeiri...

Re: Winged Clothing

Actually, you're not far off. The aer wings were definitely intended to be pterosaur-like, down to the extra finger extending the wing. The jaw's supposed to be a bit more bat-like, and they don't have tails as far as I know, but generally speaking it works well. I'll try and put up a picture myself...
