who knows, depend on what the speaker meant, doesn't it ?

Re: China Construction Kit

if you had a reason to mention it, then just say the reason: if you don't, just say you said it out of habit or observance of mores or whatever. of course it could be thought of as relevant: one might expect different affectations of western and chinese scholars, for example, or, I don't know, chine...

Re: The dream thread

I had a lovely dream: i went to a hill near my house that's generally annoying and full of fitness enthusiasts and aerobics class and noisy boring stuff, but this time it was instead full of paintings and uni profs giving talks and poetry jams and used book salesmen and weird stuff like that. I was ...

rampant cycling violations :D this phrase makes me happy [also, you should see how it is here, some stupid cyclists not only ride the sidewalk, where people be supposed to walk, but they actually ring their bells and tell folks to get out of the way. I've gotten into mild altercations more than once...

Re: Venting thread that embraces everyone without distinctio

Dear google docs fuck you. dates are not MMDDYYYY, that's stupid, that's like inches and feet and miles and stones and pounds. okay, some people use that format, and that's fine, but if you can't recognize a date simply because it's 13/06/2015 instead of some silly 06/13/2015, then fuck you. fuck yo...

Re: The KneeQuickie still exists [Discussion]

yeah, I find it difficult to justify to myself as well: I mean, most of the stuff is just text anyway, and taking stuff that's hosted on google servers and putting them on the KQ, which I have like a vague sense that it has went down in the past... I'm not sure I can find a reason for such a change,...

Re: The dream thread

I had a weird one: i got out of bed but forgot where i worked. or even if i worked, i was like "do i have a job, do i go to school? what is it i do in the mornings" so i tried to find someone who knew me to see if they could tell me something. I ran across a taxi driver, who took me somewhere, but t...

I think the question is what would them-shaped clothing even be. maybe this ? i get the problem: if you have wings going up from your thigs to your arms where do you hang clothing, especially in such a way that doesn't interfere with your flapping around. you could, I suppose, wear a sort of pants t...

不是,我的中文的水平几乎优于一个哑童。 以后学习一个年, 晚生还在苦苦 I suppose the moon could be animate... I think i've read it being treated as such in some langs. Same ): I couldn't see even a glimpse of it. I know the pain brother... I too can't process spicy.

thankfully, most people where i live know if they've added chili pepper to things or not: it seems to be cultural, someplaces chili is so ubiquitous that people don't realize when they've added it.
