Beat quake on nightmare.
Now i'm playing Age of Kings, though I dn't think it's very fun how the AI cheats (it just plays really weirdly), and I have a feeling if I can modify the game to not cheat it'll just be too easy.

Playing Quake on nightmare (can almost win! Can kill all the monsters, but for some reaosn having trouble with the timing of the Teleporter in the last level!). Also playing Deus ex again (I love that game). Not a video game, but I've also been trying to get a game together of Heroclix (a strategy b...

Re: Word lists
Like, Soap, I've been using a Japanese-english dictionary as well. "Hippocrene Handy Dictionary", which also has a useful grammer section in the back that I've been using as a sort of guide for writing my grammer as well. I've recently finished the As. I think my language total only has maybe 250-35...

Playing some original Fallout. (Very close to the end I think). I've been trying to get interest in playing Heroclix (It's a semi-chess like super hero miniatures game w/ characters from Marvel, DC, and Indy licences like Hellboy and Watchmen) online through Play-By-Post or in real time via chat (IR...

Re: Your longest conlang text.
Well, the "Gil", which I wrote in the gloss "over", really denotes also importance of greatness (I suppose I should have glossed it that way).. It's not exactly precise (and you may be correct about my language being a bit weak in that area), in that it doesn't link to alchemy, but it does denote im...

Re: Your longest conlang text.
Observer: I noticed some errors in the line. It should be (corrections in bold): alkemesana nai legilkoheyl l asa And the gloss is: alkeme-sana-nai-le-gil-koke-yl-lasa alchemy-2-PL-POS-over/great-2-crusher(mortor)-and-bowl Literally "Alchemists have the great crusher and bowl." Actually, I was also ...

Probably Alkemeslegilkakel, or "The fundamentals of Alchemy" (a book in the game Oblivion.) It's only a partial translation. I've been meaning to finishing it.

Re: Saltha Culture (Longish post)
BBWOP again. as sugested by Torco I've added some stuff on economic structure. I tried to answer as many of Torco's questions as I could. I fear this system is somewhat bland, but I'm hesitant to just use a European Feudal system. I suppose really it is that way anyway, albeit a very simple one (tra...

Long ago, an uncountable number days ago, the God Santh was bored, so he created creatures to crawl the earth such as r...

I've been (currently playing through alternatively Oblivion and Neverwinter Knights. I also have Deus Ex installed, but it's been a while since I've been mostly playing the other games. I tend to like older games, or wait until great games have become old games. I've also been playing ghost trick on...

Re: Privacy and modesty in world cultures
Discussion of modesty and privacy in your own concultures would not be out of place, either. Going to use this to avoid the rest of the topic. :P Salthan children spend much of their childhoods up to age 10 completely naked, wearing clothes only when doing chores or doing school. (They see it as nu...

Now the only question left is, what is the difference between <e> and <ɘ>, since you only seem to use <ɘ>? You can hear the difference here http://www.yorku.ca/earmstro/ipa/vowels.html (It's front close-mid vs. central close-mid) Also, I realized it's supposed to be "conlangery", not "conlangy", bu...
