I don't know if it exists, but I'm looking for a one-word synonym for "inhabitant of a capital" as in Spanish "capitalino" or Dutch "hoofdstedeling" and I can't seem to find any.

The concept sure does tho. A lot of the time I see demonyms of the particular capital city used (along with Washington Insider of course).
