At some point, we need a map that just specifies trade regions.

Base climate and base grayscale maps (without rivers) now on the wiki, under the article "Yucopia."

We never did decide anything about the solar system, other than that Yucopia apparently isn't the moon of a gas giant...

I didn't mean for it to come out as rushing you guys, but my point is that we would need to start that before everyone goes back to work/school. It probably wouldn't take more than 3 or 4 days though, so no rush.

It's just some of us are on the south hemisphere, plus not everyone has the same amount of freetime, but all's cool.

BTW how much of a leap of time are we thinking about ? 500 years? 1000?

I think, at least, that Chalmea is ready-ish to leap, and the south keskus isn't going to change too much during the next leap; I want them to be the barbarians of the region in order to have them be a constant pain in the ass for the more civilized peoples.

@Cockroach: how's the Tll-Ikish writing system coming along? I'm thinking of having Chalmeans make a logo-abugida out of it.
Whoever wants to be the "great person" in my society, I need to know who it is, and what you plan on being, so I know what to expand upon.
I'm willing to tell the story of a religious reformer in your area, if that's all cool. Chalmea is ready for it's first notable person as well.

So, would you like me to continue working on the current mythology and stuff? Also, would you like to be Northern or Eastern Sbakaz?

The Caron might be ready to leap, though the Slavasco aren't... though I could keep them more like barbarians...

Cockroach: And I second the request on the status of the Tll-Ikish writing system.

Progress is going very slowly for me. I have three tests coming up in January and I need to study alot. If I screw this up I cannot study at the university of Sussex this spring. I'm putting my conculture on hold until I'm done with my tests and such. Don't invade me!

If I had a choice I'd like for the Sbakaz religiosity to be more defined.

in case the term is baffling, I mean the way in which people live their religion. Feelings, meanings, ways to think about it, festivals, important dates and why they are important, morals, traditions and stuff.

I'll get back to you on northern vs. eastern when I read up more about them.
EDIT: deffo eastern

I have a phonology. Don't hold your breath for the rest just yet, though, I'm probably gonna take a while. :P Also as I said before I'm not that good (ie practised) at concultures, more at the languages.

Holy shit, sorry about not commenting on the writing system. It's probably gonna be logographic at least into the iron age. Feel free to do what you want with it with your own people though. I'm gonna make a better character set once I get my scanner. In the end it should almost completely abstracted from the original pictorial elements

I need to get back to work on this. Addicting video games are addicting :(

Europa Universalis III. I also got Victoria II, but my processor is about .6 ghz too slow, so when I play it there's alot of lag, so I play EU II more.

CPU isn't really that important to gaming; I recommend lowering the graphic settings, buying faster RAM [DDR3-1300mhz should do it], and if you want to spend the cash, a better graphs card. I've got a phenom 2x2.6ghz and I can run freaking CODMW at pretty decent graphics, all because of the NvidiaGT220
