I have a lexicon, but I would like to delay posting it for a couple of reasons.
1. Let people get a grip on the grammar first.
2. I'm in the process of revising it to include examples of usage.

Uh... no. I thought you took it. Maybe I should go back to sleep?
Brilliant! Okay. That makes much more sense! Let us see what diabolical things I can do with...what I'm pretty sure are verbs. :P

I take the áaknairuk from my side of the table and set it in front of you.

Yan. Txír iáaknairukiya. Fír iáaknairukat.

And I speak Inyauk.

Txínaimip ir fír nífinaaáyarikat ínyaukahi ah.
I am glad that you want to learn Inyauk.

kúmatx - to speak
nífin - desire
áyarik - to learn/meet
ímip - glad

-----

I'm not sure if I've mentioned this yet but inyauk literally means people.
So the first sentence would translate as 'I know people.' and the second would be 'I speak Inyauk.'

Don't worry if you don't understand what's going on yet. You will soon enough.

EDIT: Damn why don't you guys have a spoiler tag?
Best way to do it:
spoiler wrote:press quote to see how I did it!
- this will mark it out that there is a spoiler (I didn't know your post had spoilers until I quoted it just now) and is consistent from post to post (sometimes you will have a 'dark' coloured post and sometimes you'll have a 'light' one, but quote boxes are always the same colour. You could also do [ color=white ], which isn't quite the same colour as the quote box background colour, but it's very close.

@Finlay: Thanks. That seems much more effective.
I'll go back and edit so it is clearer.

ámasi - to thank
fís is outdated and no longer used. Looks like I did a crap job at editing my grammar. :| Sorry.
Using sar- here would be like you giving me a cup of coffee and expecting me to drink half of it and give the rest back. XD
But good job! :D

How do you keep finding verbs that don't exist anymoar?! :O
Okay, there are no verbs for 'to have' 'to be' 'to love' 'to give' 'to want.' >:D
Astraios wrote:Latsáagim zirmíkarana ifkúdanax?

You don't really use a l- here. It's more like if you specifying which item.

míkar doesn't exist. Sorry for my bad editing again.

f and k don't assimilate. But I've noticed you've been doing a good job with the assimilation, I don't think you've missed any yet.

To say if someone wants something you use nífin - desire.
Txír zarnífinat nísuusahi?
"Do you have desire for sugar?"
EDIT: I should note that everything was grammatically correct but Inyauk usage is a bitch.

In case anyone was wondering, it seems that the background colour in the quotes is #FAFAFA.

yes, i showed them this. But you can't read #FFFFFF text on a #FAFAFA background unless you tilt a laptop screen right back, which hardly counts because you're taking steps to reveal the spoiler to yourself in that case – it's exactly the same as having to select the text as you have to consciously do it.

Indeed. I am working to post a google docs version tonight/tomorrow morning. That way you can see when new words are added. It won't have examples of usage, but that's okay.

I'm also working on a lesson of common expressions.

Txír ákirana xírinayinatarimahi.
ákir - to create
xírina - school
xírinayi - lesson (from little school)
tárim - new
