Well seeing as it's going to be earth-like, it's not going to be much different from Earth -such as the equator, artic and antarctic regions and tropical areas basically.

Yea, but where will what types of forests grow and where will be arid? What places will have what kind of winters, etc. The southern united states is about the same longitude as the Mediterranean, yet their climates are so different.

I've started calculating the climates (well, the general winds and pressure, so far), though I'm not quite done. I can delay finishing/showing it for a little while, if that's what you mean.

One request though, can we get this done before night if possible? That way we can work out what we should get done first, and be able to work on it during the week.

I think what we should do is label our regions and maybe name them in IPA or XSAMPA we can work out racial differences from there.

Well, not truly "name" them but just use some phonetics to how we would like the name to sound and the orthography we come up with can work with it to form the names.

But it's true, we should start with a few languages and regionate them.

I was thinking of trying out something polysynthetic, maybe in the vain of uto-aztecan.
I'm not really sure yet. I just want to make something really verb heavy.
