Ok. I'll probably start it today. I'm first on the list, translating from English to Romanic. Now all I need is a text, though I think I found one.

Does anybody mind doing the English translation in the end?

Well, I *could* translate back into English, but then again if I'm already translating earlier, that *could* bias me somehow...

But as I've pointed out before, it's not like we're doing some sort of scientific experiment, it's just for fun...

Those are the final dates. Each person has 4 days. I have a text, but I need to edit it a bit (so it won't be easily recognizable, and won't reference unrelated, difficult to describe things), so we'll probably start on Thursday. Sorry it takes so much time.
Anyway, Risla starts the chain and Zoris translates twice, once as part of the chain and once finishing it. Prepare yourselves.

I'll suggest you create a new thread called something like "Conlingual Telephone", would help since there's already another unrelated thread called Conlang Relay, and people would expect to see that at the original post. Or you could edit the first post of this thread and change the title...

If I were using a more developed language I would say go for it, but Sęimaką isn't quite ready for the prime-time if you know what I mean... I'll take the transcription to buy myself some extra time

I've never participated in a relay before—what exactly is the procedure? I'm looking over past relays but I'd like to be sure.

In this case you kinda have to pass on a glossary/grammar of your language too – with the natlang telephone it can be assumed that the other person is semi-proficient in the language at least and/or has access to grammars online.

My language has fairly complicated morphophonemics, and an unintuitive orthography that further clouds the matter—should I provide a morpheme break-down (I guess an interlinear gloss without the translation), or would that ruin the fun?

I think you should just pass on the plain text, but keep correspondence with the person next in the chain. They should be allowed to ask you questions about your language, after all.

I just sent the text, supplied by Zoris, to Risla. The dates listed on the list should be two days later. So the game has started!

Haha, he must have missed the part where I basically said I'd be using Sentalian. After all, it's my only properly developed conlang.
