Conlingual Telephone VI
Re: Conlingual Telephone VI, apparently
Alas, I am going to have to bow out. My situation dramatically changed over the last few days, and I will be inundated with work while the game is going on. I'm unlikely to have time for the next few months. Very sorry.

I think I'm gonna go ahead and translate into Unnamed IE Lang. It might take a lot of work though.
Anyway, I like Ancaron, and it doesn't seem too difficult, so I'm happy.

Re: CLT VI - looking for conlang -> English transators for e
Text has been sent, along with a slight modification of the rules in relation to needing more time to translate the text.
Risla: That time is during the weekend, and you can ask for more time.
Also, I still need people to do the final translations back to English. I could do it, but I'd rather not, especially as I'll know what the text is at each link, which would probably make my translation a bit biased...

Okay, so I'm up first. Great, I'll get to itLyhoko Leaci wrote: You must also provide an English translation, as not everyone is going to know these languages.
So how do I handle this English translation thingy? Do I just put it in the PM with everything else, or what? Just making sure cuz I don't want to jeopardize anything on the first pass...

In other words, you provide the English translation so that at the end we can follow what's been going on. You don't send it to the next person; that'd defeat the point of the game.Lyhoko Leaci wrote: • When you have translated, PM your new translation to the person next in line and to me, and your extra English translation, just to me.

Ok, I'm translating into Efsig. It's going to be full of mistakes because the conlang is still not very developed, but... Well, we'll see about it. Either Efsig or Athonian.

Re: Conlingual Telephone VI
I think I've successfully done the translation into English... I think. I'll probably proof it this evening and, afterwards, decide which language is best to use. If it's in Ilian, I apologize for any fried brain cells that result.

Considering I don't have to start worrying about final exams until Friday, I just got it over with and finished it right now. I sent mine out so I'm done

...That was fast. I'll probably not be able to look at it until Sunday or so because I've got essays to write, but maybe after then; finals shouldn't be too hard, so.

I'm officially disappearing off the face of the earth from this Friday until the next, so I thought I might as well have done it ASAP. If only I were like that with my (piling stacks) of essay assignments...
Cheers and good luck to everyone on finals :p

Oh my. Did I get our team stuck? Sorry... I'm gonna get it done on time. I think there aren't as many mistakes as there were last time. I intend to translate the text into English tonight and into my conlang tomorrow.

It's that pesky strong force... it causes the quarks to clump, but as leptons don't interact with that force, they keep on buzzing around.Cathbad wrote:Well it's still on schedule, it's just that the other guys are rather... eager.Mr. Z wrote:Oh my. Re: Conlingual Telephone VI
Okay, the first sentence was easy, the second one is really weird. And there are some words I don't have a clue as to what their meanings are.

All the roots should be in there, though not all compounds are. If compounds aren't they're either understandable as an English compound of the same components, or a word with grammatical affixes. (Or both)
Let me know if you're sure that a root is missing, though. Unless the problem is with which meaning the root has, in which case you're on your own.

Well, I'm generally confused. I did a lot of guessing and probably messed that part up. But the Athonian looks pretty cool, and this helped me give it a new feel, so I'm fine with it. And the whole point of this thing is messing up anyway.Lyhoko Leaci wrote:Note the slight change in Team Lepton: Nortaneous > CJMiller > PřemyslCJMiller wrote:I want in (with Xylphika, of course).
