Questions or discussions about Almea or Verduria-- also the Incatena. Also good for postings in Almean languages.

Cadhinor has no articles, but its daughter languages has: Verdurian has "so", Barakhinei has "il"...why?
Maybe these descend from a barbarian language?

That's why the lexicons have etymologies.
Verdurian
so (and Ismain
se ) derive from Cadhinor
soh , an adjective meaning 'aforementioned'. (Unwieldly in English, but compact in Spanish (
dicho ) or French
ledit .)
Barakhinei
il derives from the Cadhinor pronoun
illu 'that one'.

It
does seem to be the most common way of articles forming. There aren't a whole lot of ways that they can form.
