Animals...

Questions or discussions about Almea or Verduria-- also the Incatena. Also good for postings in Almean languages.

Animals...

Post by Uitlander »

Does this world have any animals, insects, creatures other than the civilized?

I assume you're talking about Almea.

If so, the best place to begin is probably the section of the Verdurian thematic dictionary that discusses animals: there's a fairly large listing there.

There's a planned Biology of Almea that Zompist plans one day to release that will have detail on crops, animals, etc. But that's pretty far in the future, I think it's fair to say.

If you think that pride is about nationality, you're wrong

Remember that all of those are approximate. When the thematic dictionary mentions an Earth animal, Mark means some similar to that aninal, but not the same.

Eh, no. That's one of the board's default avatars.

It says that on the page, anyway. Although I don't think it matters that much ...

D'oh. That's what I get for not actually reading the introduction text...

I could've sworn I say Mark mention that here on the board some time ago, rather than it appearing in the dictionary itself. :?

Ah well.

Okay, gotcha. Makes total sense now. But, I knew the names were next to the posts, I just didn't think it was necessary to personally thank the individual.
But now I will, thanks So Haleza Grise.

He was just pointing out your avatar. It's kinda become the sign of another member, Jaaaaaa.
