In the historical atlas year -16000 you say:
"The most likely explanation [for the split with the murtaini] is a religious split, which could account both for the ferocity of their warfare and mutual disdain-- elcari take their ideologies even more seriously than do men-- and for the continuing religious difference between the two races. The elcari worship a single god, Khemthu-N?r; the m?rtani are polytheists, and the names of their gods are those of the names of the demons in elcarin religion."
But in the Elkaril grammar (cultural notes section) you say:
"They believe in one god, Khemthu-N?r (`First Spirit'), but have no public worship and little theology."
Not that this is conclusive proof of a mistake somewhere, but in addition to the general sence given by the cultural notes is of a people not particulally interested in religion much at all, or is this just me getting the wrong end of the stick?

Oh, and you said the story of the Anuxashin marrying off their daughters in lesbian marriages was an old conception, but it is still in the historical atlas.

Forgot about this one.
The elcari have deep convictions, but don't see the need to make a show of them. They just don't get the idea of rituals and public pageantry.
