Questions or discussions about Almea or Verduria-- also the Incatena. Also good for postings in Almean languages.

So I figure it's about time we start having fun application with some of Mark's langs, and I was thinking we just up and start having convos in one of the Almean tongues. Since we do have two members already learning it, why not Ismahi?
Ozi, ce vił es pregn Isma?n?

Te izô ebezê môndn se suzizez e.
(To use an English idiom, and taking 'izô' as an adverb describing where the work is happening.)

It's a pain in the neck when I want a common word, that's all.

Depends. In general useage, 'neon' is any one of a number of colored lights made by passing an electric spark through excitable gases. I believe the original gas used was neon, hence the name. Other gases make other colors, but are still often called neon. I don't want a specific color; I want the glow-in-the-dark broader sense of neon, like pointing to a road-worker's outfit and calling it 'neon orange'.

Be patient, Ghost. I must work my way through the grammar, until I know it all, before I shall attempt to construct sentences in Isma?n.

I am not even going to try putting this is Isma?n just at the moment.
When forming verbs from nouns or adjectives that don't end in any of the usual three letters, is there a favored ending? For example, if I wanted to affix ? to zis 'wicked' to form a verb meaning 'corrupt', should the final form be ?zisec , ?zisn , ?zisr , or something else entirely?

The sound changes are historical, so they wouldn't apply to a contraction.

As a rule of thumb: if the adjective ends in -i, use -
r , otherwise -n. So in this case, ?zisn.
