Soa Sfahe
Re: Soa Sfahe
It looks like you run into trouble when you hit a prepositional phrase... "of the Speech" is expressed using the genitive of both words: soe Sfahei. And "(based) on an existing language" should use sur plus the dative: sur dembec?n rhon?n. (Redhun?t means 'space'; that is, extent as a noun, not an adjective-- I should clarify that in the Dictionary.)Pentekonter wrote:Ambru soa vu? soa Sfah?. Esce s?tnei soa vu? nib redhun?t rhon? (I sure messed that up, didn't I?)
Anyway, to answer the question-- Verdurian borrows a lot from French and Russian, so it probably sounds like a strange mix of the two, plus whatever sounded interesting to me at the time.
