Led astray (har, har)

Just noticed this, and wondered if it's a mistake or if I'm just interpreting it wrong (both from the Visitor's Guide):
If you get lost, offer a child a few coins to lead you back to your inn or to a local landmark, such as the main temple.
Don't pay anyone to lead you anywhere, especially late at night (any more than you'd pay someone to give you directions at home).

The second quote is probably unclear; the idea is that if someone offers to take you somewhere for money, you should refuse; they're probably up to no good. You may initiate such a transaction if you wish.
