Mark, I have one question (and I know you've been asked this before, but I couldn't find the answer...)

In the introduction to Almean Belief Systems, you write the following:
Zompist wrote:The Cuzeian work, In the Land of Babblers, has been translated into English, as has the Count of Years, and the Xurnese A Diary of the Prose Wars.
Now, we know already that the Count of Years and Babblers have been written in full, as well as your first novel set in "present-day" Verduria and other material (such as the play in verse on the fall of Ertala) included or quoted on the Virtual Verduria site. However, have you written any part of A Diary of the Prose Wars? It sounds as though it might make for some interesting reading...

Glenn

I have, in fact. What I mostly have is a set of studies-- writing exercises, you could say, trying out various voices. I read some of them not long ago and tried to rewrite the one that seemed most promising-- an account of a childhood spent in an artists' colony in Xurno.

If it gives you some hope, the line you quote was written years before the Count of Years existed in its present form...
