"I guard the castle of Burntup the magician, and I am under very strict orders not to let a flaid, human, iliu, or even an Ant to cross!"
Question: Did you already have the preliminaries for the ilii, or at least the concept, in your head at age 11?
2. I wonder, what does your wife think of all the languages and various geekery?

2. She's tolerant. She's not much of a fantasy fan, so she doesn't read most of it (though she's one of the few people who've read Babblers).
