Flaidish grammar typos

Post by Mornche Geddick »

1) Definite irrealis "grobdo". Should be "gropdo" as the preceding consonant isn't voiced.
2)Habitual "7aull", "7ault". Shouldn't they be "7en7aull", "7en7ault"?
3) "linnen miffichet" should be translated "22nd" , not "23rd".
4) "back fuuste lin zaru fell" should be translated "five minus two equals three".

When -et is added in ordinal numbers the preceding vowels remain short, as in lin, lint, fell, felt, sam, sammet. Is that also the case with the fraction and two-digit suffixes -em and -en, or do the vowels in lin, liffel, sam and 7ecker lengthen when suffixed?

Thanks! Fixed now.

All three suffixes are added as is, i.e. they do not shorten the previous syllable, except for the lexicalized exceptions in the numbers table (e.g. lifflet). So, linnen was an error.
