I've done some stuff on the history, just a little bit.

That's my entire report.

if there's nothing going on is because we're either low on free time or not doing anything because we're interested but there's nothing going on. it looks like a conundrum, but we're supposed to be conworlders, who enjoy conworlding for its own sake; if things are slow, just think of it as a conworld you're working on that happens to happen in a wiki where others do stuff as well; in time, people will begin doing things anew. write if you feel like it, and post here about what you post, I for one will continue to check the thread, even if I can't find time to do any actual work.

I've been doing things recently, and when I have had time I've been low on ideas. Once I actually sit down and start making culture notes I'm sure I'll get myself going.

OK, why not start out by describing the earliest histories of your peoples? Where and when and why does prehistory end and recorded history begin?

Has anyone tried just taking their pre-existing conworlds and tweaking them so they fit together? Very few people work out all the parts of a planet in detail, so there should be holes. You could put all this effort into stitching together the details you've already got. Terrible idea?

You'd have to agree to shared rules. I have thought of developing the world of Jed and the gaaxao this way, with each person taking an individual planet, but I'd have to make sure everyone was following my particular brand of soft-but-not-too-soft sci-fi.

No, that's just another collaborative project. I mean take planets that people have already made, and cook the books so that they are in the same universe. The rules of how soft or hard the sci-fi is would be based on the creations, not vice versa. Hopefully you could select only those creations that are already more or less on the same page (i.e. not high fantasy and hard sci-fi), so you wouldn't have to tweak things too much.

fo' sho'... I guess the problem is like that whenever any one person looses interest, everyone else looses a bit of interest, and there's no pressure towards gaining interest beyond sort of basic desire to conworld, which can be expressed through other conworlds.

Dude, I was just thinking about trying to revive Istion! Any interest?

Also, I believe some people unconnected to us added articles to the wiki by mistake.

I completely forgot I was participating in this. :o
I'm trying to look over everything that's happened and catch up, though.

The suggestions for the Eastern Untersprachbund are very similar to a conlang I've been fiddling with, so expect something about that soon.

The people I have here are culturally similar to the Ancaron and speak a language that's the proto-language to Zukish (with stuff added to fit the technology)

I could get stuff on the language up, as aside for the genders, it still fits with the sprachbund info, with added consonantal roots, and as I recently started to work on it again.

...Huh, I tried to write "fits with", but it came out "withs"...

Quick question before I begin: Where'd the background image come from?

Also, I would love to get into detail on the global war, God willing.
