La-Pu

zakkan taiqa, zakktaiqa
stage-GEN difficulty, stage.difficulty
Originally for problems on stage (e.g. a lantern falling over), now refers to problems in anything inhuman. (Broken bridges, pockmarked roads, squeaky doors, etc. etc.)

zakkaihtaiqa
stage.on.difficulty
For live events. Same as above, but without the semantic drift.

ratšan taiqa
machine-GEN difficulty
ratšuilltaiqa
difficulty.from.machine
For problems caused specifically by electronics.

Poswa: kažappwadža, more or less "mail" + "card". Pwadža has a combining form pia but it would seem odd to use it here, since it is generally used for talking about items from a specific set, e.g. playing cards or money (they dont have flexible paper-type bills, they have what we might think of as certificates). One might also use pažaepwadža, "long-distance card".

wafa hivih si
lit., holy give DEF
hivih stems from English "give", which pidginization transformed into the word for the object(s) being given; the definate si makes it an action/event once more.
the "holy" is from the early missionary period, which brought in the metaphor of "all things come from God".
