I have started working on the language that later became Doon and Rán, and also introduced a more conservative romanization for Doon.

I do! Look: "to read". It's just that initial /d/ shifted to [l], then merged with /l/, but the orthography is old.

(Medially, what you have, is delta for /ɾ/, so that "to fall" is [ka.'ɾi] <καδή>).

I have a serial verb-compounding marked-absolutive language that places attributes on noun heads.

And this syntax (still don't know if that's the right word) does not have the concept of a sentence.

To demonstrate with English, the sentence 'the cat sat on the mat' would become 'the cat sat; the mat was sat on.' Every string of speech is composed of 'phrases'. It doesn't matter in what order these are put in, so I could just as easily say 'the mat was sat on; the cat sat', and the meaning will not have changed. To make sure that it is known which verbs refer to the same action, markers are used. So, simplifying the English, we'd have 'cat sat-X1; mat was-sat-on-X1.'
