Sometimes I think I should make dialects of Himmaswa. There are a lot of vowels, so there are also a lot of possibilities.

I want to see this. Consonant clusters could do this too, no?
Yes, what Burke said. I've been wanting to do something with my vowels in different contexts, but I don't know what or how yet.

Actually, I've already designed Oksmeswa (related language, but only some basics).

That'll show them.
That was a decently challenging translation; I decided to make my own idiom ("that will make them leave").

Oh btw, what kind of writing implement can make both filled and 'hollow' rectangles? Is this supposed to be written with a stylus that has one flattened end that permits making scratches with the broad side and thin lines with the narrow side, and a hollowed-out part at the other end?clawgrip wrote:

For reference, Spanish uses, among others "eso les enseñará [su merecido]" (that'll teach them [their due]), "así aprenderán" (that way they'll learn).Pazmivaniye wrote:That was a decently challenging translation; I decided to make my own idiom ("that will make them leave").
I'll borrow the metaphor into Iveriss: Mit dam scael-yr lirnen. ("with that they'll learn")
