Azenti as romanised Ancient Greek without tittles:

/m n/ m n¹
/p b bʰ t d dʰ k g gʰ/ p b ph t d th k g ch
/f v s z θ ç ʝ h~xˤ/ ph b s z th kı gı ch
/ts dz/ s z

¹g before a /g/.
²rh word-initially.
³rr word-medially.

/i e u o/ ı e ou o
/y ø ɯ ɤ/ y oı eı ıe
/a/ a

Heavy syllables are assumed to be stressed and vowels in such syllables receive an acute accent. If there are more than one equal-weight syllables, the stress is assumed to be on the penultimate one. Monosyllabic words do not receive stress marking.

It's better than Wade-Giles. Anyway, here's Hanoi Vietnamese using Chinese romanization conventions:

Initials:
/p t̪ʰ t c k kʰ~x/ <b t d j g k>
/ɓ ɗ/ <bb dd>
/f v s z ɣ h/ <f v s ss w h>
/m n ɲ ŋ/ <m n ny ng>
/l r w/ <l r u>

Medials: (all but u and Vw series can take -w- between initial and medial)
/a aː ɛ ə ɔ e əː o i ɨ u/ <ae a ê e o ei ee oo i ü u>
/ie~iə ɨə uo~uə/ <ie ue uo>
/aj aːj əj ɔj əːj oj ɨj uj ɨəj uəj/ <aei ai êi oi eei ooi üi ui uei uoi>
/aw aːw ɛw əw ew əːw iw ɨw iəw ɨəw/ <aeu au êu eu eiu iu ieu ueu>

Finals:
/p t k m n ŋ/ <p t k m n ng>
[c ɲ] for /k ŋ/ after /i e/ and [a] which could be either /ai/ or /ɛ/ <q ny>

Tones:
˧ ˨˩ ˧˥ ˧ˀ˨ʔ ˧˩˧ ˧ˀ˥ same as actual V. orthography

New York English

/m n ŋ/
/p t k (ʔ)/
/b d ɡ/
/f s ʃ (h)/
/v z ʒ/
/ʋ~ɹ l/
/w j/

Plosives often reduce to glottal stop syllable finally (in the sample text realised with the unreleased diacritic) as well for many speakers /l/ is vocalised syllable finally before a consonant or null and /r/ is often realised as a labiodental.

/i uː~ʊu/
/ɪ ʊ~ɔ/
/eɪ o~oʊ/
/æ ɛ ɑ~ɒ/

Vowels are oft nasalised when preceeding a nasal consonant and back vowels have wide amounts of variation in height and monophthonginess.

Sample Text
[ʊəʊ̯ ˈjʊu̯.mə̃n bĩɪ̯nz ɒə bʊ̃ə̯n fʋ̥iɪ jɛ̃n ˈiɪ.kwəʊ̯ ɪ̃n dɪɡ.ˈnɪ.ɾi jɛ̃n ʋɑɪ̯t͡s. deɪ̯ ʊəʊ̯ ˈɛ̃n.dæʊ̯d̚ wɪt̚ ˈʋiɪ̯.zə̃n ɛ̃n ˈkʊ̃ən.ʃə̃nt͡s ɛ̃n ʃʊd æʔt tu.ˈwɔəd͡z wʌ̃n ə̃n.ˈnʌ.də ɪ̃n ə ˈspɪ.ʋɪt̚ ə bʋə.ˈdʌ.hʊd̚.]

I just said it and I honestly don't even know, it's just magic I s'pose. I mean we also inherited lots of Cv clusters from Yiddish as well. Though to be fair I have a slight palatal glide between the two.

(I mean seriously how can people not pronounce "kvetching schmuck [ˈkv̥ɛ.t͡ʃɪ̃n ʃmʌk̚]?")

/l/ likes to become a vowel in some English dialects.

Yeah they are due to vocalisation and back-vowel raising, though it wouldn't be so for a lot of speakers.

Christ almighty the latin alphabet is awful for trying to romanize this language.

/p b pʼ pː t d tʼ tː ts dz tsʼ sː tʃ dʒ tʃʼ k g kʼ xk q qʼ qː ʡ ʔ/
<p b p' pp t d t' ć ź ć' ss c j c' k g k' ch q q' qq ḥx '>

<å åå a aa e ee o oo ye ie iø wo uo i ii ue uee u uu/
/uj woj aj ow ew/
<uy woy ay ow ew>
All vowels can be nasalized with an ogonek. In trigraphs of two vowel glyphs that are dissimilar (i.e <uee...>) only the last vowel is given the ogonek when long. On the diphthong di/trigraphs (i.e <uy woy...>) the ogonek is placed on the actual vowels.

Consonants that are neither velar nor uvular and not ejective can be pharyngealized (Cx). /ʡ ħ/ can be analyzed as pharyngealized glottals.

as ʃie̯ga aːltʃaħ, tsunax tsˤa doːʃ ʔa dina, daʔajtintʃu deːke ʔa tsa ħoʒuʃ, ʃiẽ̯ veʒeraʃtsĩ dow ʔa dina, ʃyːge joːllũ huma jeːkã qajkina sã maːra. tsiggaħ vardanaʃ ʔa, steːrtʃi dʒa ʔa duo̯xkina, vaːrdanaʃtʼeħ xiːlla qʼaːdĩ ʃie̯naʔa ditina, axtʃanax tujkaʔa jesna, tʃu neːxĩ qʼadi ʔa diːllina, sowdeːgar ʔa xilla vaːxã xiʔina moːl neːsert.

Currently nameless lang:

Stops: /b d g/
Fricatives~Approximants: /β ð ɹ~z ɰ~ɣ/
Nasals: /m n/
Liquids: /r l/
Vowels: /i e a o u/ Length is contrastive, as are five level tones (with very little to no tone sandhi): /a˥ a˦ a˧ a˨ a˩/

Most of this doesn't cause any problems, but I'm a little uncertain about /ɹ~z/, as the fricative/approximants are often closer to approximants than to fricatives, so the spelling <z> is not too accurate (this particular sound often isn't even sibilant if pronounced as a fricative). I don't have a sample sentence yet, sorry.
