When your conpeople use language more or less like we do, I'd say they will make abundant use of interjections of all kind. I wonder what interjections you invented for your conlang. Are they onomatopaeic? Culturally, sexually or religiously defined? Would they be dependent on which social class you belong to? Are there taboo words, curse words?
And first and foremost: are interjections more or less the same in any (humanoid) language?
For starters, here's my set of common interjections and modal adverbs in Vayardyio:
ácto! stop! hold! don’t move!
adario! wish: with the help of good powers (cf. ‘insh’allah, and the like)
allá aha! well, well! okay! etc.
aní come on! hurry up! move on!
aní para! (indignified) hey, come on! I say! etc.
aní, siprasse! just imagine!
aní so now look here, etc
asédio (affirmative) certainly! also, interrogative: wouldn’t it? isn’t it?
daratio you know…
dima! oh shit!
fa! oh! (regret, disappointment, pity)
gio! (exclamation: astonishment) oh! wow! etc.
giou! (exclamation: pain, fear) ah! ouch! ow!
giou, maya! (curse) damn! I’ll be damned!
no (nou) well – anyway... whatever... etc.
pai! hi! hello!
sai! pfew!
sca! yuk! (disgust)
scidra! (when annoyed because of smthg. not working, not going well: damn!
va something like: ‘but’, ‘just’: iasse va na iago just come to me; igéne va let’s just leave; va dacardio ya rénamantara pide he could very well walk on for a while; tasima sipara ia, va! but I will come, anyway!
v’assifrio: vantasse v’assifrio please, do have a look!
va si: iasse va s' ido! Just you come here (if you dare!)
ya somewhat, a little: o giatidou ~ évia éla he looks a little pale; ~ sialno ridéne some thirty meters; ~ savalno dirone parnisto fortyish (age); ~ éclamia frissa! The poor girl! ~ bésirco! what a crap!
yésíte! (yésasse) come on! Let’s go!
yi né isn’t it?
yo! come on (dont’t be a fool)! etc.

Re: interjections in your conlang
Here's a few in Msérsca (which is more for personal/experimental use than anything):
eeee... [ɛːːː] uhhh.../errr...
dae [daː] yeah (casual form of da yes)
neae [ɲaː] nah (likewise from nea no)
áta! [ˈoːtɔ] okay! alright! (marks approval, consent)
mére! [ˈmɲɛɾɛ] cool! nice!
mac! [mak] shit!
maccea [ˈmacɔ] fucking, expletive, lit. shitty: sea maccea fátru! this fucking car! / fuck this car!
oó! [wʌo̯] whoa!
fne! [fnɛ] sure! sounds good!
damé! [dɔˈmɲɛ] right! oh yeah! of course!
dea [dʒɔ] duh
ó! [ʌo̯] oh! ah!
acca! [ˈakɔ] ow! ouch!
ihe! [ˈiːxɛ] ew! yuck!
castá! [kɔˈstoː] sweet! great! a-ha! eureka!
sea maste! [ʃɔ ˈmastɛ] enough! that'll do! that works!
ea ctea! [jɔ ksɔ] I('ll) say! indeed!
callá... [kaˈloː] you know... we could... perhaps... (coy, suggestive)
I'd guess that interjections regarding very basic emotions and bodily sensations are the most easily translated across cultures. More interpersonal or complex things, like regret, gratitude, and certain kinds of satisfaction, seem to have more variable expression in different parts of the world (for example, eureka! seems like a very Western thing to say).

Quite cool

Re: interjections in your conlang
I only have one interjection, not counting hello/goodbye and yes/no. I'll include them in the list anyways.
This is broken down into syllables; the dashes are not part of the orthography. I'll underline the stressed syllable.
Kutorene
Kón-cih-ja [kontsɪxä] Hello
So-nä-ra [sonʲäɾä] Goodbye
Ji [xi] Yes
N-vin [nvin] No
Pud! [pud] Shit!

Re: interjections in your conlang
Huh...looking on it, Azenti has very few interjections right now. I should add more. There are really only three now:
zecora [zekora]: "Impossible!"/"this cannot be!/"There's no way!" This is something you'd hear a villian say right when their evil plan is foiled, for instance. Only used for utter and complete disbelie about what just happened.
aćumy [atsumy]: "dammit!"/"shit!"/"oh, hell!" Your all-purpose curse word. Used with zeććida [zetS:ida], meaning "absolutely", you get Azenti's closest equivalent to "Fuck!": aćumy zeććida! [atsumy zetS:ida]. Quite beautiful for such strong language, no?
