N.B. this whole 'worship of sun and harvest' stuff is way less common than people think it is. People tend to worship gods, who may be associated with things like suns and harvests, but they don't tend to be thought of as the same. Apollo, for instance, is not 'the sun', he's just a god associated with the sun and with light, but also a whole bunch of other stuff. Even Helios isn't 'the sun', he's just the guy who drives the chariot of the sun. And the sun is probably the thing that people do come closest to worshipping directly; other stuff like 'fertility'... really not so much.

[While I'm at it: if people only have islands in rivers and lakes, does that mean their oceans have no islands? That's probably impossible. Or does it mean they have no oceans? In which case, why would they say they 'merely' have islands in rivers and lakes? That's like humans saying out of the blue that they have hands, but merely at the end of their arms (when nobody has suggested otherwise previously in the conversation).]

That was mostly my being lazy at the time; I have retroactively gone and actually created some names for gods.

The only seas that my people know of directly is Baltic Sea, even though they have heard of other seas by word of mouth. Note though that, which was not specified, they have the same word for "sea" and "lake". I probably should not have specified merely there.
