Poswa wopo parvopa from popo "speech, talking" and a process that changes p- to w- to indicate something artificial or manmade. Combined with parvopa "handheld" from Bābākiam pafuaŋāupa, which is from a word for the palm of the hand and an infix I dont remember but which was clearly obvious to me when I wrote the etymology down because I didnt break it into its constituent parts. I also sometimes use wopo pombvopa because the vowels sound better to me that way. Pombvopa is a word meaning "the size of a peach" where peach is just a fruit that got taken in as a measure word. This allows me to create wopo pombvopob for "using a cellphone" which is where I get the location field on this username from (even though I use this account more than the original account now).

Pabappa: tappam, from Bābā ta kuaipam, a mundane word essentially just meaning "chair (for) humans". It just happens that the modern Pabappa word for an ordinary chair has a different etymology, so tappam became used less often and developed a highly specific meaning.

Poswa doesn't really have a good word for this, I do have pupampisap "large rock, throne" and 2 loans of words for chair from other languages. I dont remember if this omission was deliberate due to the Poswobs not really having an established wealthy royal class or if I just somehow never made a word for fancy chairs. The cognate of the aforementioned Pabappa word tappam would be takwaepam in Poswa ... that is, it would have undergone no sound changes at all for the entire 4700 year history of the language, only a slight change in spelling, and therefore would still be perceived as a phrase made up of the original two words, rather than a new opaque word for a new concept. Oh, right. Pupampisap is pupa "to recline, lay on top of" + -m (passive/reciprocal) + pisap "rock, boulder".

Khulls has năma, but this is merely a word for chairs in general.

Andanese has unama, also meaning just a chair in general, and this is a cognate to the Khulls word, despite being 8000 years distant from Khulls, because neither of the languages in this family ever sound-shifted an /a/ in any position except for a few shifts that affected all vowels equally.

Clothes in general are pretty culture-bound on this planet; the Poswobs were even named after a wide-brimmed miniskirt that distinguished their women from all other tribes in early history. Neither men nor women regularly wore anything longer than knee length, or even thigh length, even in colder weather; nor did they have advanced fabrics such as denim to distinguish from natural fibers. Nevertheless, most of the surrounding cultures did wear long pants, primarily those living in colder climates, and so even from the earliest days of the Poswa language there were several words for long pants, and by the modern stage these words had all taken on specific meanings because even today clothing is very culture-bound, with each tribe having its own distinctive style of dress, to the point where one can go into a mixed crowd in a diverse city and seek out speakers of one's own language purely by looking for the right type of clothing.

Modern Poswobs are influenced by Moonshine speakers the most, and have taken the most common word for long pants from them, which is peppop (actually just pep; pop means "twins; symmetrical pair"). Since denim seems to be made from cotton (I honestly didnt know), they will need yet another loanword for that, but fortunately, cotton is grown nearby and imported to them via mutual trade agreements, and the word for cotton is tisi. So the word for jeans is peppop tisil, "long pants made of cotton". Cotton is still foreign enough that they wouldnt imagine this to be people walking around in fluffy cloudlike things because most Poswobs wouldnt even know that that's what wild cotton looks like.

Pabappa would just loan the word from Poswa; it'd be exactly the same.
