PRTC Tarr-NOM also be-PRES.ACT:3SG.ENCL island-SG.NOM. And NEG know-PRES.ACT.1PL "tea" and "coffee".
Tarra also is an Island. And we don't know tea or coffee.

HTML doesn't allow that [litt. is not allowed to do that]. Multiple white spaces become a single space. Only with "code" (HTML "pre") this is possible [litt. can do this].

Yes.

I learnt a lot about him.

*g- tags do not like infixes apparently so to avoid busting the code I had to represent the infix -in- really stupidly.

Teuo hale ja zu baru mveni.
[g=second]teuo[/g] [g=ask]hale[/g] [g=NOM.3s.ACS.DEF]ja[/g] [g=NOM.3s.INAN.NSPC]zu[/g] [g=many]baru[/g] [g=COP-]g-[/g][g=TOP.1s.ICS]veni[/g]
Then he asked a lot about me.

So I ended up telling him my story.

Oi lama nua.
[g=almost]oi[/g] [g=tear]lama[/g] [g=LOC.1s.ICS]nua[/g]
I nearly cried.

Teuo gula ni uje lo tehi euo minute

Then he just held me in his arms for about two minutes.

Xue zoi jo ba xaba zuo tuhu nu.

People who speak different languages use Sign Language to communicate with each other.

In Daneś' world, ASL has become a fossilised standard that many people learn for the express purpose of communicating with people who speak different languages. In interpretation settings, signers are highly sought because of the streamlining affect their skills have in international communications. However, this only applies to North America.

But basically think of it as filling the role of Plains Indian Sign Language.
