Dittag heppt ig ossgifonnt dass dē worrts "bir" enn "vyn" oss dē zellig worrt ausstammē. Dē worrt "vyn" iss ausgitekkt oss vein, dē ausstamm oss *berji, oss dy bir aug ausstammē.
Today I discovered that the words "bir" ("beer") and "vyn" ("wine") are descended from the same word. The word "vyn" was borrowed from vein, which derives from *berji, from which bir is also descended.

Oss trʉgmaknē dē ginntall kynē man lʉkigess ossfinntē...
One can discover funny things by reconstructing the proto-language...
