This is a new conlang in its very early stages, which is influenced by Salishan languages, but has more tonal aspects. "Bashulabsh" is named for "Bothell" in Washington state, where I grew up, and is similar to "Duwabsh" (Duwamish, ie the river) in Salishan languages)

Bashulabsh: túwàʔ kə́kʷədìʔ əsbilid [tú'wâʔ kə́'kʷədîʔ əs'b̥iɫid̥] lit. "that (which) strikes (lightly) against (something)"
túwàʔ kə́-kʷə-dìʔ əsbi-l-id
that ATT-strike-3s against-ACC-3s

I'm not sure if this really works, but translated more literally, it means "that (thing) (which is) lightly striking it against it (other thing)"

The first "it" is the subject, the second is the object, and "against" is a "prepositional pronoun" like in Irish, although I'm still working on exact grammar, I'm not sure if it works like it should.

I believe Salish has phrases that can be translated similarly, although I could be misinterpreting it. (Much of this conlang is only phonetically similar, and the grammar might be totally different)

This phrase is meant to be impersonal and non-desciriptive of who is doing the action, although it could be translated as being "it", this is just the basic form for a verb.
