Yeah, I think this is a good concept to unify in a language like Kuroras where most words are monosyllables.

Kuroras: xʷis basic meaning, "pine needle" but it can serve as a stand-in for those others, sometimes as a classifier if greater precision is needed.
Thaoa: ikʰoi "stinger, needle with a hole in the center";even though Thaoa is polysllabic, it uses compounds the same way Kuroras does, though it woukld be abbrviated to ikʰ in some types of compounds.

I could list dozens of words in Poswa and Pabappa.
