*shakes fist*

I use it in South Eresian. There's actually just a dialect-specific merger of /h ʔ/ in the dialect I use here, so I decided to represent all of them with <h> instead of apostrophes. Besides, it is attested (in the orthography I based mine off of, no less).

And what would you rather I do, blanket the language in apostrophes so it looks like it emerged from a bad fantasy novel? :P

thank you-but i got the idea from french
french has a silent h, not a glottal stop

close but not quite. :P

Do you mean words like le hockey, where it's called "h-aspiré"? You're pretty rude for someone who doesn't know his stuff. There is no /h/ in French. End of.

You mean you were saying French aspirates /ʔ/ in certain words?

Oh, is it? Then why did you argue that it's aspirated?

You guys are hilarious, just so you know.

He is probably arguing that the <h> in words like le hockey is a glottal stop. Now my French is slightly rusty, but I really don't think it is.

You'd be right. There's no phonemic glottal anything in French, not even glottal stops in words beginning with h-aspiré. So Xados saying that his <h> = /ʔ/ comes from French doesn't really make sense.

I don't really care for your phonology, it's not to my tastes.

truthfully my extent of knowledge lies in writing-but i'm using an english keyboard-on a windows xp. 2. i am new but don't get me wrong i am very glossofilic and usually i work on 'fixing' the systems [trust me they're fonetic].

3. i don't care how bad you think of my fonology , i'll complete it eventually 'cuz all i have is the standard. in fact i'll go on hiatus and work on something else.

4. when is somebody else gonna post their fonology

Right, this makes it so much clearer now, thanks.

You wanted people to comment on it, I commented it, and now you don't care what I think of it? Make up your mind.

l

i lack special characters so my posts take a while

i generally do the 'fixing' in the latin form only. i said that because i don't do much besides that , that stems from glossofilia

i am new , as i said my language skills usually are related to orthografy and i'm sorry if i acted brash in any way

i'm new to this [2 years] and new to conlangs

another screw up astraios- i thought you already posted an opinion.

^^^ i mean exactly what i say -have mercy
